Criminal Revision

Criminal revisions may be commenced by any party, including a Judge in the Subordinate Courts.  It may also be commenced by the High Court calling up a matter for revision on its own motion.  This process is initiated by a letter (if not by the High Court’s own motion), and then a date is fixed for the hearing.  All documents are filed in the High Court.
